QUIXOTIC STUDIOS AUDITIONS LOCAL MUSICIANS
Website to television team seeks original songs for opening sequence, guest acts

2-9-09--Quixotic Studios is now accepting submissions of songs for the television expansion Quixotic Television, created by Stephen Lin and Rachel Kincaid. The photography and journalist duo is looking for original, independent work from bands and producers for the chance to be used in Quixotic's opening sequence. Other musicians will be asked to be musical guests on the 13-episode, half-hour show set to air this spring.

"We know that there is some great music out there by local bands and singer-songwriters. Our aim, as with the website, is to help these acts get noticed in the Triangle and beyond while serving our purposes of intelligent and influential entertainment."

Submissions are accepted from February 15 to March 15 in link and MP3 format. The Quixotic creative team will issue call backs in March and one lucky winner will receive the invitation to be the opening sequence's song. Other artists will be invited to create a music video to be played on an episode.

Quixotic Television is the TV media arm of QuixoticStyle.com, which points readers to local fashion, music, lifestyle and more.

QUIXOTIC STUDIOS SEEKS PARTNERS FOR UPCOMING SEASON OF QTV
Seeking those interested in a career in entertainment, journalism

2-6-09--Raleigh, NC--Local style website owners Stephen Lin and Rachel Kincaid announced last week their expansion into television media and are seeking a limited number of producers to complete their team for the 2009 on-air launch. The show, named Quixotic Television, will have a magazine format and will include comedic commentary and satire, coverage of local music and fashion in the form of short videos, interviews and reviews, political commentary, sports analysis and more. It will begin filming this spring and will air for 13 episodes this summer on RTN (Raleigh Television Network).

Stephen Lin and Rachel Kincaid, partners of QuixoticStyle.com, are accepting a limited number of producers for this project. Producers will be responsible for an element of production which may include certification in such skills as camera work, lights + sound, directing, casting and more. Producers will be granted air time in the area of their choice should they wish to be in front of the camera for one or more episodes.

Quixotic's vision is to bring intelligent, influential entertainment to the growing 21-35 year old audience in the Triangle. By partnering with area businesses, Quixotic aims to have each episode fully underwritten, thus operating above budget for the entire season.

Producers who are accepted will be asked to become members of RTN for the purposes of reserving and operating necessary equipment to produce episodes. Also, producers will be required to become certified in at least one area of expertise. Training + membership will cost partners between $125 and $170.

Models will wear garments from CuteStylz, styling from FacesForward

2-4-09--Raleigh, NC--Quixotic Studios has announced an open call for a limited number of models to host a Durham Hollywood-themed party on Friday, February 20. Chosen candidates will receive an outfit from Raleigh-based fashion house CuteStylz Boutique (http://cutestylz.com/). Chosen models will greet and pose for photographs with guests from 7 to 8 pm.

A meal and beverages will be provided to models as well as one professional shot from Quixotic Studios. Hair and makeup will be provided by Lesley Lancaster of Faces Forward cosmetics (http://www.facesforward.net/) of Raleigh.

"We are excited to work on a Hollywood-themed project such as this, and with such big hitters as Crystal [McCullers, CEO of CuteStylz] and Lesley, where the challenge will be to create a unique mood and atmosphere for the guest of honor."

Quixotic Studios will be providing a unique paparazzi experience for the guest of honor to complete the Hollywood theme as well as a custom photo booth for guests. Based in Raleigh, the fashion and style advertising unit often provides unique photography services to discerning clients.

QUIXOTIC STUDIOS ANNOUNCES ITS MOVE TO TELEVISION
The style house will feature music, fashion and commentary in it's 13-episode season.

1/31/09--Raleigh, NC--Quixotic Studios, Raleigh-based photography and e-zine house has announced Friday that it will be taking its fashion and music content to cable access television beginning this spring. Quixotic will air on Raleigh Television Network as Quixotic Television and feature local musicians, designers and business owners on the half-hour magazine format show. Quixotic is also forming a comedy troupe to open and close the show comprised of local talent.

QuixoticStyle.com began as a portfolio building resource for fashion industry hopefuls. Since launching a year ago, Stephen Lin of Cary and Rachel Kincaid of Raleigh have been known for their work with New York based jewelry design houses Dasi and Marilani Huling as well as with as over six well-known boutiques in Charlotte including Niche MKT, Martin + Mary's in Cary and Casablanca hookah and tea in Raleigh. They have interviewed Tokyo Rosenthal, internationally known Americana recording for Rock n Sock records as well as Talon Lloyd, Raleigh's newest face oh hip hop.

"It is exciting to take our concept to another medium," said Kincaid Thursday. "And with the incredible pool of talent of Raleigh, there is no telling where this could land the people involved."
