QUIXOTIC STUDIOS AUDITIONS LOCAL MUSICIANS
Website to television team seeks original songs for opening sequence, guest acts

2-9-09--Quixotic Studios is now accepting submissions of songs for the television expansion Quixotic Television, created by Stephen Lin and Rachel Kincaid. The photography and journalist duo is looking for original, independent work from bands and producers for the chance to be used in Quixotic's opening sequence. Other musicians will be asked to be musical guests on the 13-episode, half-hour show set to air this spring.

"We know that there is some great music out there by local bands and singer-songwriters. Our aim, as with the website, is to help these acts get noticed in the Triangle and beyond while serving our purposes of intelligent and influential entertainment."

Submissions are accepted from February 15 to March 15 in link and MP3 format. The Quixotic creative team will issue call backs in March and one lucky winner will receive the invitation to be the opening sequence's song. Other artists will be invited to create a music video to be played on an episode.

Quixotic Television is the TV media arm of QuixoticStyle.com, which points readers to local fashion, music, lifestyle and more.
